“...art is a blessing of consciousness in which imagination and conceptualizations create a bonding of humanity between a painter and a viewer...”

–Magda Audifred,
Wynwood, The Art Magazine
Art Basel Miami Beach Special Edition

As a body of work, Audifred’s paintings and etchings re-insert a notion of the fantastic and surreal into a viewer’s visual vocabulary — the elements that make life bearable. They present themselves as invitations to feel, remember, and imagine. The passageways in her paintings speak to the infinite transitional stages in our waking and unconscious lives. The theatre stages in her etchings remind us not only that we are always performing, but that she show always carries on.
